and mission-oriented investors

Established on 16 December 2022, the Italian Interreligious Centre for Dialogue (CIID) brings together faith-based and mission-oriented institutional investors in Italy. It fosters discussion and promotes collective dialogue initiatives with businesses and institutions.

CIID supports its members in developing a full understanding of the financial and non-financial consequences of investment decisions. This enables them to manage their assets through a process of discernment grounded in the search for truth, accountability and transparency.

Through this process and monthly meetings, primarily online, members can assess whether their investments are consistent with the values of their faith and develop approaches to asset management that integrate economic, social and ethical considerations.

CIID also promotes dialogue with businesses and institutions through joint initiatives, drawing on the experience of those directly involved, appropriate policies and reporting standards, and engagement with leading practice in Italy and internationally.
